Six months of planning, Vintage inspirations, lace details, DIY and a homestead full of happiness.

Family and friends came from far and wide to join in the celebration of Shannon and Kyle’s Laidley Wedding on 12 December 2015 at Branell Homestead.

We may have woken to a rainy morning but that wasn’t going to dampen the day! A relaxed morning of Nintendo 64 for the boys in their private cabin overlooking the homestead house where Shannon was getting ready with the girls.

Bridal Preparations in the country house and waiting in the library, peering out the window as the guests arrived. The always elegant Shannon looked just stunning in her vintage inspired lace gown, and the Bridesmaids looked beautiful in their blush lace Review dresses.

The ceremony was shuffled to the verandah, decorated with lacy bunting details and photographs of parents and grandparents Weddings. With readings from both Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom, Father Michael O’Brien married Shannon and Kyle in a beautiful ceremony at 4pm.

After a rustic cheese and nibbly feast we went for a walk with the Bridal party and umbrellas around the Homestead, past the rusty shed, down to the pier by the lake then off into the Mango orchard through the soggy mud via some curious very cute calves and gosh it was fun!

The reception in the pavilion by the lake was filled with laughter, dancing and delicious cake.

Then just before we left, we slipped away for some last minute sneaky photos in the library!
