I was so excited when Claire called me and told me all about their secret plans to get married at their Engagement Party!!

Claire and Nic came over to my house to plan the details and timings, come up with our cover stories and how exactly everything was to take place. Needless to say this was one of my most exciting wedding plannings!

Saturday 19th March 2016. Tim and I arrive at Claire and Nic’s house in Murarrie, Claire and I have an excited hug, jump up and down with excitement then head on up to the bedroom to start Bridal Prep hoping that Claire can just slip away from the guests without being noticed as missing for 20 minutes.

Carla and Shanelle, Claire’s Best Friends help with preparations in the Bedroom, then we send Tim downstairs to let the Groom and Bestman know that everything is ready!! They gathered everyone in close to make an announcement.. the rain has stopped, the Celebrant, Paul Voge steps out, then the music begins to play. Only a tiny handful of guests know what is about to happen. Claire’s Dad beaming up at the Bride as she walks down the back stairs to the unknowing family and friends…

Realisation slowly hits, Claire’s now in a wedding dress! The smile on Claire’s face says it all, Nic is grinning delightfully as his Bride makes her way through the crowd for a beautiful fairy light glowing ceremony in the backyard of their new home.

Family and Friends squeals, jumping and hugs complete the night with surprises, delight and love filling the air.
