Sometimes I’m extra lucky and get to photograph a beautiful friends Wedding. May 6th 2017 was one of these wonderful days!

I’ve pretty much known Anna my whole life. Our Dads went to school together, have stayed friends now into their 60’s and when Anna and I were born not even 12 months apart they called us both Anna! We catch up religiously for Chinese at the same Moorooka restaurant every year for my Dad’s Birthday. Anna even helped me get my first photography job taking Santa Photographs for Myers all those years ago. So it seemed like the most awesome idea that I be Anna’s Wedding Photographer and was absolutely delighted when I received that Facebook message. Which brings us to Anna and Phil’s big day!

Morning Prep at the always lovely Stamford Plaza in Brisbane City with Anna’s nearest and dearest helping get everything ready. Followed by a fancy Kombi ride to Walkabout Creek for an afternoon ceremony by the gorgeous Kate Mackie in the D’Aguilar National Park rainforest. Keeping life comfy and being herself, Anna wore sparkly sneakers for her big day making location photographs a breeze along the winding tracks of the Parklands. A cocktail style reception with drinks and nibbles all around flowed well into the evening finished off by a heartwarming Father Daughter dance.
