Anna’s bespoke element came from an instant connection to a Bentley detail. The controls for the air vents in every Bentley’s cabin are called ‘Organ Stops’, because their motion, action and purpose are the same as the stops on a pipe organ – a tactile, linear control that affects the flow of air. For this car, Anna specified the Organ Stops to be finished in 24K gold, again complementing the palette of the interior and making the Organ Stops stand out from the cabin.

“I have always adored getting to bring the sound of the pipe organ to as many people as possible – getting to show people how each organ has its own individual voice and character. My new custom touring organ, built for me by Content Organs, features samples of some of the most extraordinary examples of pipe organ building, capturing not only the sound of the organs but the acoustics of the spaces they inhabit. This new touring instrument allows me to bring these incredible instruments into venues that don’t have their own organ, allowing us to go on our own mini ‘organ crawl’ over the course of the concert itself! Throughout the concert I’ll be showcasing several different organs from around the world, showing how these instruments each have their own personalities, and how each has something different to say. My hope is that these concerts act as a gateway and encourage audience members to go and hear some of these remarkable instruments in the flesh!” – Anna

Since it was unveiled 154 years ago, the Grand Organ has been played by some of the most renowned musicians in the world, and so far during Anna’s tenure at the Hall it has featured across a broad range of repertoire from core classical to gigs with Bonobo and Ministry of Sound.

If you are aged 20-25, this could be your chance to develop your musical journey, learning with Anna at one of the most famous organs in the world.

The first successful recipient will receive a range of opportunities at the Hall over the course of 12 months to support the development of their organ playing and career in the music industry. The scholarship aims to advance the recipient’s key skills including performance style and communication. The activity will consider the organ’s place in the Hall’s annual programme, the broader music world, and how the Hall can support the scholar in widening the reach of organ music.

Submissions are open until 5pm BST, 11th November 2025, with auditions on the Hall’s organ taking place at the end of November, with the aim of the successful candidate beginning their programme at the start of January 2026.
