So this blew my mind on Sunday and still is today! I’ve been telling everyone and now I’m sharing my little story with you 🙂
I had been in touch with Dee-Dee only via the internet and telephone in the weeks leading up to her Engagement party but I hadn’t spoken to her fiancé.
On Sunday afternoon I arrived at Lightspace in Fortitude Valley all excited to meet the lovely Bride-to-be, I walk in and spot the gorgeous girl in the bright orange dress and then I spot her fiancé Brett… Who I went to high school with.. and haven’t seen in 10 years… !! What!! I had no idea until that moment, pretty cool right?
<—- See! It’s us on the last day of year 12! 😀
But then it gets better… While coming to terms with the small world craziness that just unravelled, I see another friendly smiling face… Rhys.. Dee-Dee’s brother… who went to university with my partner Tim… and I’ve met many times and has been to our house… again, I had no idea… Mind blowing situation number two!
So here I am at an Engagement Party where I know almost half the people! That is definitely a first and it was absolutely delightful to see a gathering of old friends from high-school celebrating this wonderful time for Brett and Dee-Dee.
Congratulations on your Engagement Brett and Dee-Dee, you held a great party and I loved all your personal touches. It was the best coincidence to be booked for your Engagement Party.
