As I stood under the hand dryer in the ladies bathroom of La Vue ever so desperately trying to dry the groom’s jacket I knew we were in for an epic day. We had watched the BOM radar constantly leading up to the ceremony and at 10:40am the Groom, Celebrant and I decided that it could be okay and let’s set up the ceremony as per plan A at the park above La Vue. 10 minutes later.. rain! The Groom dashing in and out of the restaurant saving guests and ceremony details. Onto plan B and C! and that’s how I ended up in the ladies with the Groom’s jacket..

La Vue had set up a beautiful space inside the restaurant for Rachna and David’s intimate ceremony, Rachna texted to let me know she was just pulling up and I made a quick dash up the stairs through the ever growing puddles to meet the beautiful Bride, and gosh Rachna looked absolutely stunning!

The rain slowed long enough for Rachna to be walked down the staircase then down the aisle by her son and sister. As soon as David saw Rachna, the tears started and that was the end of me! You can just feel the love between the Rachna and David and it warms your heart. The always lovely Natasha Hill held a heartwarming ceremony witnessed by the Bride and Groom’s nearest and dearest.

Photo time on a rainy day is always a little different but it’s all about attitude when it rains on your wedding. Rachna and David took it in their stride and embraced the wet day in the best way possible, barefoot, jumping in puddles and running in the rain! What rockstars! And the photographs are amazing for it, even if I do say so myself! 😀

I can’t even express how awesome Sunday was, I might have ended up completely soaked but had the best time with Rachna and David on their Wedding day and now I’m sad it’s over!
