Happy Wedding Day Rowan and Tori!
A few months back Rowan found us online through the google universe looking ‘fly on the wall’ style photography! That’s us! 🙂
They weren’t wanting a traditional wedding, rather just having a big party and woodfired pizzas and wanted someone to document the night.
So that’s exactly what they did! My hubby Tim and I arrived with my fashionable moon boot in tow an hour before sundown. I hobbled down the jetty and we spent a grand total of 10 minutes capturing some stunning (even if I do say so myself) wedding photos.
Family and friends arrived at 6pm to a delicious feast catered for by The Italian Job. As sunset neared guests made their way to the water.
Rowan and Tori were married at her Mum’s house, on the back deck built by her Dad, over the canals of Newport, QLD at 7pm as the sunset behind them. It was beautiful and perfect. And finished with Margaritas! A lovely ceremony by Jessica Robinson.
A surprise visit from the Redcliffe Pipe Band who cruised in just in time for dinner and a bagpipe serenade. Margaritas backlit by fairy lights, helium balloons filling the dancefloor, a croquembouche totalled with a hammer, Rowan and Tori really had it all.
Congratulations to the lovely couple!
