We’ve been through life together so it only seemed fitting that even though Jess and Jason were Eloping that I would still get to join in the fun and photograph their big day!

I’m going to say Jess and I met back in Grade 1 at Stafford Heights Primary School. We laughed our way through Primary School together and then begrudged our way through High School at Craigslea together haha!

Our friendship has survived 27 years and even if we go a long time without seeing each other, when we catch up again it’s like no time has passed and we’re back in our groove.

I photographed Jess’s Sister Alyssa’s Wedding in May 2019, then Jess attended my Wedding in June 2019. Now in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic we all met up on 10 . 10 . 2020 to watch on as these two love birds Eloped in the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens!

Only their parents and siblings were in attendance, albeit via Zoom for Jason’s Sister stuck in Melbourne! Although, I was still sure to include them in the family photos, sitting in prime position on an iPhone on top of a tripod!

Congratulations Jess and Jason, I’m truly so happy for you and can’t wait to meet your little one in 2021! And yes, I will officially accept the title of Aunty Anna haha! xx
