This was a fun one for me! Backstory: I’ve know Alyssa since I was 6 and Aly was 4. I was in Grade One at Stafford Heights Primary School when I met my Bestie Jess who is Alyssa’s big sister and we’ve all been friends ever since!

The first time I met Jason, I’m pretty sure was at Alyssa’s 21st Birthday, it was a backyard bonfire, we were making an Australian version of Smores with chocolate coated tiny teddies meanwhile Jason was taking long exposure ninja photographs with sparklers. At this moment, I knew Jason was awesome. Might I also add that I helped Jess make Alys Birthday Cake that year and it was an epic three tier Angry birds cake. Not long after this first meeting I introduced the team to Dominion, for those of you who don’t know Dominion I suggest you visit for local board game store and start playing this medieval fantasy card game and start building your Kingdom.

Many a board game, pool party and baking days later, here we are let’s say 25-ish years later and it’s Alyssa and Jason’s Wedding day!

So here we were on the 5th of May 2019 at Hillstone St Lucia, 2pm. Jason eagerly waiting at the atler for his beautiful Bride Alyssa. Dad Steve walking his little girl down the aisle as family and friends watched on. A beautiful ceremony by the always lovely Kate Mackie with time to relax after before our golf buggy adventure!

Off into the wilds of St Lucia, we drove our Mario Kart buggies over the hills towards the river for some off the beaten track Wedding photos. Cruising back to the Reception at dusk for a relaxed, fun and laughter filled evening.

Can I also just mention that Alyssa made her own Wedding cake!! It was amazing!

I can’t believe you’re married now! It’s all so exciting! I’m so glad I got to capture this time for you and be a part of your big day!
